I’d like to teach the world to be social

Post image for I’d like to teach the world to be social

Coke has set out its top line social media strategy which makes sense for the brand and that, instead of getting bogged down in technicalities, rules and ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’, simply states the overarching objectives, the main one being a ‘Fans first’ approach.

Here’s a link to a really interesting presentation by Michael Donnelly on Coca-Cola’s social media strategy. Michael is Group Director of Worldwide Interactive Marketing for Coca-Cola. The presentation is insightful in that it shows the influence Social Media channels are now having on the marketing strategies of larger corporations and world brands.
